“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
                                                                                                    -Matthew 28:19-20

Baptism is the sacrament of the Lutheran Church in which we are adopted into the family of God and begin a promising new life in Christ. Through water and God’s Holy Word, God names, claims and sends us into the world for the sake of His kingdom.

In baptism there are promises: parents promise to raise their child in the Christian faith, godparents promise to assist in nurturing the faith of their godchild and our congregation promises to support the child and his/her family through worship, prayer and education. Promises are present for adults who are baptized as a new venture of faith begins!

We celebrate Baptisms of children, youth and adults throughout the year at Peace.  Baptism is a gift of grace—all are welcome to receive this sacrament. We look forward to being a part of this journey with you!

Baptisms are offered on Sundays during the 10:30 am worship.
Given this unique time of health safety, other arrangements can be made for a private baptism in coordination with the pastors.
To schedule a baptism, please contact our Jim Justman (Church Administrator) by calling our church office (920) 865-75959.
